Default Fender Mod

This is my rear fender mod. Couldn't see buying a fender that I could make myself. So far I have 2 hrs and $7 into it. Sorry about the bad pics. I'll post better pics when I get the holes welded up.

Kick ass! Thats exactly what I'm having done to my bike this weekend before I get it repainted. Now I know it will look good for sure. What did youuse to cut it. I was going to take it to a Metal Fabricator I know to have it done, but if it's easy I may do it my self.

I was going to cut mine too, but wanted to do a spike. What did you use to cut it with?

Die grinder with a cut off wheel. Hardest part is marking the cut line. There is a quarter inch of play up and down the fender that makes it look really good or really bad. I marked it at least 15 times before it looked right.

Did you run into trouble with the mount for the stock mud flap or does the cut avoid it all? Looking forward to some better pics! Looks awesome though!

Thanks Natedog! Cuts into part of it but i just cut that back further. Can't cut it out completely because you would loose the rigidity of the rear portion of the fender. Figuring out how to mount the fender without exposed bolts was hard too but I have a plan. **** I love this ****!!! More pics to follow.

I've got another fender on the way. When it comes in it will be round two for me.
