I really haven't seen to many rear pics of 240s and 250s. Can you guys and gals post some rear end pics of your rubber? I'm starting to get the tire itch and need see which one I'm gonna splurge for. Lol
I was thinking of a 240 to put on mine and I remember reading that you would have to trip the belt guard. I'm fairly new to the motorcycle world and I see that some people don't even have it on. How hard is it to trim and has there been any issue's with not even having it on?
Its soft plastic so it is easy to cut, as far as keeping it off, the bad part is if something were to get lodged in the belt and destroy it it would be around $500 for a new belt. The bottom one is the main one you want to leave on, becasue of rocks and road debris. if you arent carrying a passenger then you shouldnt be too worried about the top belt guard

I'd have to disagree with you Shimbo. I had a rock get jammed in mine totaly stock to the point where I had to pull over and take off the pully cover to get it out! Thats with both the guards on. I think that there's less of a chance of a rock getting stuck in a guard if it's not on. I believe that the guards are more for a passenger, and or bags rubbing on the belt. I never had a single issue with them off. I think the guards keep debris in, more than just bouncing off?

Hey Jazz- have you tried going down a dirt driveway that has a hump in the center? I did that with my 260 and had all I could do to keep bike up. Looked like a clown(More So) in front of a big Ride Group. If I had my Wife riding that day- we would have certainly dumped it!!
Well most of the 1200 miles where done in temps under 45 degrees so I think that had something to do with it not warming up. At 70 mph if I jumped on it in third it would spin and kick out
