I wanna buy a 2017 Stryker in a crate and put it in a barn. 30 years from now, it will be worth millions as the 'Best Bike Ever Made"

Stryker is paid off in November, will probably save for a Harley Road Glide as my tour bike and the Stryker as the lighter, more nimble fun bike.

I have just over 10000 kms on my bike now. It was in the shop for all just under 4 months for accident repair due to another rider not paying attention and rear-ending me in the first week of January. I had a 4000kms ride planned that I just got back from last week that I had to rent a bike for and I ended up renting a Harley Davidson Road King. It was a brilliant bike, the cruise control made the long highway stints a breeze and the comfort of the bike amazed me. The bike I rented as well was a 2014 Road King and it had 95000kms on it when I rented it and it ran flawlessly. When returning it I asked the owner of the rental shop how long he thought the Harley would last and showed me a 3 year older Heritage that had 300000kms on it with no major service, just religious oil changes and routine service. They apparently have 2 Street Glides in Melbourne that have 150000+kms each on them with out issues. He was very positive about the Harleys even though he admitted he is a BMW bike guy. Of which the shop had about 20 BMW's to rent. But he did tell me the Harleys are always rented.

I'm gonna buy another green 2015 Stryker bullet cowl and keep it in a crate in my grandpa's barn.

One day, 70 years from now, after the alien invasion, the leader of the resistance will find it and dust it off and ride it to victory over the invaders.

Afterwards, the Stryker will be bronzed and placed on an obelisk in the town square of the new capital of the Free States of Americanada, in the humble town of Billings, Montana.

That's the plan for my next ride.
