Default Corbin Gunfighter Question

I understand the Mustang seat is a bit taller and moves you forward an inch or two.

Anyone have any info on how the seating position changes with the Corbin Gunfighter on the Stryker? I'm looking to upgrade my seat.

http://corbin.com/yamaha/ystkr11g.shtml

Thanks!

Draeger

The gunfighter position feels same as stock for me, which is why I went with it vs mustang. I have long legs and the last thing I wanted was to be pushed forward and I didnt want to be raised up higher in the saddle either. Corbin can custom shape the seat pan to your specific needs at no additional cost (pushing your position more forward or back, etc). They took my measurements and weight and determined the standard cut would work for me and it does, perfectly. If its still searchable, I wrote a review w/ pics on here awhile back.

The Gunfighter is pretty close to stock height with a more relaxed seat pan.

Excellent - exactly what I needed to know!

I like the stock seat, but love the Corbin seats I've owned on other bikes. The gunfighter looks epic on the Stryker.

I got the Z1R low profile flame stitch solo seat with passenger wide pillion. I couldn"t be happier. A lot cheaper too.

Thanks all, I just ordered the Gunfighter. So stoked!

For me in Canada, the Z1R seat wasn't that much differently priced.

I have had very good experiences in the past with Corbin seats, so decided to go with what I know.

This forum is awesome.

who'd you order the Corbin through? I've been holding off on changing out the seat on this bike. Haven't found the stocker to be all that bad. But I miss my Corbin, had one on my other bike.
I have some new side covers and a neck cover coming, and maybe it's time to change out the seat as well.

Hey Rusty - Just did it right through the Corbin website. I ordered that way before from them and it worked well.

The stocker isn't bad at all, but the Corbin seats I've had are exceptional. Also the back rest is a lifesaver after a few long days in the saddle on longer trips.
