According to one of the members down here, they said Ivan told them he does not have a program for our market as well as with the money conversion and shipping over seas it gets expensive real fast for us down here. Also we have 98octane fuel at the pumps hear which would require different parameters to what the US specs would be. Our bikes also do not come with the smog stuff that your bikes have over there. So with all these differences I would feel a lot better having a flash designed for our markets bikes as well as our available fuels. Appreciate all the replies from the states but our market is different here.

I scraped my peg for the first time in 4200 klms. The flash helped me do it. What a freaking riot man. Big difference.

I completely understand. I didn't realize there were that many differences.

not a problem, just wanted to point out why us Aussie riders are asking around about flashes down here. Our market is very small compared to the US or European markets and our bikes are built with some different specs than the US spec bikes. I would love to be able to have an Ivan flash on my bike but I would only do it if it was written based on the environment down here with the fuels and bike tunes we have down here. I do appreciate the feed back though.

I have had mine flashed by ECUWest... massive improvment! I dont believe he does as much as Ivan does as far as changes but Im so happy I sent him mine... he removes all the factory restrictions & gets her running great... g8 gains in power too.

Are you still running the Cobra programmer with the flash or did you have to have that disconnected? How long did it take for them to send it back to you after you sent it to them?

Not running any programmer. Took about 5-6 days from the time I sent it it off (Bris to WA) I did end up having to send it back as the flash was corrupted (an issue with the software he used) but he fixed it up & its been great ever since.
