Default Member Maps

Thanks to NCStryker and Pilot we have a member map we will be testing. Here is the link and follow the instructions under the link

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1qAnU_gl_yes6kvLiNZ-svrKv-IY&usp=sharing

1. You need to log in with your gmail or google account on the top right hand corner "Sign in"
2. Click on "edit" on the left side under "Locate your fellow Stryker Riders"
3. Use the search box put your address, your city, your state, and country or click on the pin icon which is "Add marker" on drop the pin where you like
4. Box pops up with your point number and modify it with your user name and click "save"

If everything works ok I will try and find a way to have it as a permanent link on the home page

I am starting this thread to see if administrators or necessary people will listen to us. I have read several members have requested these maps and lets try to make them hear us. For those who do not know what I am talking about here is a small description. Members pin a map as close as they feel comfortable to their home. any member can see who lives in certain areas and can send a PM if you will be in the area and also if you want riding partners. You will not have to start a thread to find people in your area as this will be available at anytime. This is not a WiFi or GPS tracking. You decide where you want to pin the map. Who is in this?

Miss that map. It was one the really cool features of the old forum.

There was mention just last week about the administrators looking into a map for Vbulletin.

I dropped in on the Raider forum the other day, and noticed that they still have the member map. So for those of you who don't know what it is, you can go there to check it out...

On a side note:
I also realized that everything else was still the same on their forum, and it was never changed to Vbulletin... Aren't they owned by the same company? Why did we have to change?

They were suppose to change but after we changed I think they raised too much cain and they decided to keep theirs as is. I do know their map is not working right now. I think new people are not about to pin the map and if you are already pinned you can't move your pin if it's wrong.
