Default ECU Flash first?

I tried searching, but couldn't find the answer to this question. I have a stock 2011 Stryker that I just picked up a few weeks ago. I've been reading the forums to gather info for the mods I want to do. Still trying to decide between exhausts and intakes. However, the one mod I'm sure I want is Ivan's ECU flash. It seems everyone who's done it has already swapped out other parts on the bike. Is there anything wrong with getting the ECU flash done before I upgrade the other components? It's my understanding that the flash is the same regardless of other mods, it's the PCV or other fuel management controllers that require specific info.

Thanks for any and all info you guys can provide.

The ECU flash should be the first thing you do.

I think the shipping from Canada would absolutely destroy my wallet.

There's also a custom's fee from Canada post for the value of the work performed. I think it was about $50
It's based on the value of the service indicated on the invoice from Ivan, not on your ECU value.

I do know that Ivan said to never use UPS or Fedex for shipping into/out of Canada. Only use the post office.
