Be careful doing this mod if you put a larger tire on. I did this to mine a few months ago and the next day I put my 240 tire on and as i was leaving the shop, hit a small bump and the tire hit the light and ripped it off. >

I know I appreciate it. Looks great, great instructions, but I'm wanting that 240 as my next tire, so I'll probably steer away from this mod after 11's comment. Thanks for the instructions though. Hope to see more from other people b/c I'm not the most experienced when it comes to these kinds of things. (Wish I was, but my last bobber was already ugly, so I wasn't scared to mess it up like I am my Jessica... err, stryker. {Yeah, I named her Jessica, what of it? I love Jessica Rabbit and I thought she was curvy enough to earn the name. Plus, she's not bad, she just designed that way. HA!})

Was really excited about this until I saw Stryker11's post. I have a 240 installed and the PCS lowering links. Probably won't work on mine, right? Just ordered the Custom BlasterX tail light kit, installing that either way.

My Raven is lowered 2.25" and I installed the Custom LED BlasterX Tail Light. After reading this thread I decided to by the light and turn it upside down, it fits perfect and looks like it was designed that way. The light has three rows of LEDs. You will only see two rows by installing it this way but it is extremely bright and is very streamlined. I bought two 90 degree brackets from Lowes for 2 bucks each and just drilled two holes to mount. It is very secure and no wiring or brackets are visible. BTW I am running the tallest 240 tire Dunlop E3

I decided to try this out and I think it came out great! Though it totally defuncts this entire write up Here's where I differ from you. My light has three original rows and now there are two directly visible. You said there were two and now one. Still really bright anyway. Oh well.... Here are the pics.

I stand corrected kraaazy. I do have two visible rows. But in my defense, if you have 6 or 8 beers it looks like only one row because the LEDs start blurring together, lol... Also the shape of your light seems different. Mine is straight across the face and yours seems to angle back slightly from the middle on each side. Is it my eyes playing tricks with me? It looks good on your bike. I can't believe we waited this long to do that cheap easy mod, what a difference.

Haha, I appreciate your honesty. My light housing is actually a smoked zx6r brake light. I started off with one of those and when I bought the custom dynamic light I dropped it right out of the box, cracking the clear housing. So I switched housings and never looked back.

I recently installed an intergrated tail light and was thinking about doing something like this, the instructions and attention to detail is absolutely incredible, thanks for the thread!
