Cool, another on my ever growing list of things I'll be doing to the Mistress....

I like the look of the Kawi smoked lens yet you state it's not as reliable???

What is the problem with them? Besides the drastically lower price that I appreciate, I think the dark lens looks much better... Jmo..

The LED strips will begin to fail...happened to myself and many others. I have a brand new replacement Kawi light that i received since my first one failed. Never even bothered opening the package since the Custom LED was now available.

Ok, thanks for the warning. I like the blaster or the "Custom" the custom is @ $25.00 less than the blaster.
Either way, I'll find a way to tint the lens!

I have way too much into the upgrades and mods for the bike already. I promised the wife I'd stop for a while... Then I remembered that I had bid on a light bar for it on Flea bay yesterday... Yeah, I won that too.
She's been very patient with me so far!!!
Time to stop pushing my luck!

I got the blaster from EBay for a good price. It was a " best offer " auction. I don't remember how much, but look for a best offer one.. and make an offer.

I feel the need to bump this thread to the top for such a well documented mod.

(makes it easier to find when I do the mod myself!)

Just did the mod today, I kept referring to this thread and the pictures and instructions to avoid foul-ups.
Works great and looks awesome.
I used the smoked Kawi light hoping I'll have better luck than others have had.
I cut the wires from the Stryker light and signals and spliced them in so I can use the stock plugs, Looks good!
NOW... I need to come up with a nice little LED pinpoint lamp that I can aim at the license from under the fender, in front of the new light.
My license will be mounted under the axle bolt head and sit behind the pulley.
I really don't want to run wires down the swingarm for lighted bolts or a lighted frame.
I'm on the hunt.. anyone have any ideas?

Default tail light

Hey Kraaazy,
Quick question. How would I mount my license plate under the light with this setup? I'm not into side mounting the plate.
Thanks!
