Hi All,
I purchased a 2012 Stryker last year used with 1400 miles on it and it came with cobra pipes and a Power Commander. This is my first motorcycle and for the beginning of the first year it ran great. Toward the end of last year the was a day when car was coming the opposite direction and went through a large puddle, splashing my bike from underneath. After that my bike engine started to stutter, at one point it was too bad to ride. After taking it to the shop they couldn't get it to happen and suspected it was just water in the tank. It was okay for a period of time after that, but since then it has began to stutter again, not bad but it seems it happens at varying RPMs and maybe when I go over bumps, but it's hard to confirm.
I was wondering if any of you had any idea of what I could look into. I'm wondering if it's the map on Power Commander starving the bike of fuel, but being my first bike I'm not too familiar with how all that works. Is bringing it in for a Dyno tune my only option at this point? I put about 5,000 on it last year and I'm just trying to restore it back to its former glory.
Thanks!
