I painted my air cleaner today. I like chrome but there was no definition when looking at it. I did not look the look of all black so I painted the center section. Everyone says " looks factory". I like it What do you think?

Looks nice. What kind of paint did you use? My only concern would be if your leg will rub off the paint in time. Very cool look though.

Went to a nice ride this morning and entered my bike in a show. Won 2nd place custom. First place went to someone with a custom West Coast Chopper, tough competition. But its a start.

I used a satin black plastic paint that I got at Auto Zone. I also put about three coats of wax on after it cured 4-5 days. My leg does not get close to the cleaner so I do not believe that it will affect it. If you do get small chips just touch up with a Sharpie and you are good to go

Washed my bike, tossed on my jeans, tank top and Walt Disney Grumpy Hoody and disappeared for about 3 hours on a 150 mile round trip ride to nowhere, lol. Got one **** of a sunburn from my elbows to my wrist where I had my sleeves rolled up and my gloves on, lol. I'm really loving the long rides lately but I definately need to invest in some highway pegs and a seat with a backrest.

Cut the tail off and made a tag bracket out of the stock metal bracket haha. Cheap way to do it just takes 45 minutes of your time.

Removed the chrome glow integrated tail light. In the end, I decided that it wasnt bright enough in the day and put the Kawi light back on after dismantling it and replacing about 12 LEDs. Let see how long it lasts this time.

Put on the custom LED taillight moved the tag mount up to the taillight and cut off another inch or so of the plastic. Then mounted the rear reflectors in the holes left from the blinkers, just need to put a larger washer so the nut doesn't pop out.

I drilled out my exhaust. Did it on my lunch hour. Thanks to sdstryker for the 5 hole template. Worked great. Had to get back to work, so I didn't get a chance to ride it much, just out of the shop. Sounds much better though.
