Default belt adjustment ?

As others have posted I'm also getting a rubbing sound when I ride ,what is the belt deflection supposed to be ,and where do you measure it ? I saw posts about this so I'm guessing someone has confronted the issue .

7mm with 10lbs of pressure with the bike sitting on the kickstand at the inspection window on the lower belt guard. every line is 5mm apart.

Has this fixed the rubbing sound problem for anyone once they re-adjusted the belt?

First off this is my first belt drive and my experience with them = 0.

I've been having the same issue with my belt. Started rubbing and "squealing." I bought a gauge and adjusted it to the proper tension, or so I though. It still rubs and "squeals" sometimes worse than before. Also now when I left off the trottle I get a distinct vibration in the left footpeg which goes away as soon as you get back on the throttle. I'm thinking the belt is now too loose. OMG these things suck. I want my chain back!!!

I have not tried the method metioned earlier about checking allignment by measuring the distance from swingarm pivot to the axle yet. The adjustment marks are lined up both sides. I'm also going to remove the lower belt cover. At this point I'm not ruling anything out as I AM STUMPED as to WTF is going on.

Its so embarrassing! People checking out your ride, smiling, nodding, thumbs up and then you slow down and you can see there faces start to cringe.

The bike is running like a champ even in this heat. If I can just get this **** squealing to stop.

And NO its not my brakes!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE PLEASE FIGURE THIS OUT FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!

the smalled amount the alignment is off it will push the belt to one side. if the belt is off to the left you need to move the right side forward or the left side back. visa vera if its rubbing on the right.
