Default LED headlight replacement

Hi All,

Anyone know if one of those Amazon 5 3/4 headlights will fit with the original bucket, with no mods.. if so any suggestions on one?

Thanks

A specific link to a light you were looking at would help some. I just did the led bulb replacement and it was a huge improvement over stock but not as good as a dedicated bulb. Problem was that at the time they were crazy expensive...

I'm almost certain there are threads on here regarding the process. While not necessarily 100% applicable(probably different headlights back then) they will show you the things to look out for.

Also, try calling Custom Dynamics. I think they have one but maybe a little on the higher side. They usually have a good warranty and are knowledgeable.

Bulb replacement was easy. I did the OPT 7. Cost me about $100 CDN 18 months ago. Probably cheaper now.

Yeah I replaced the bulb, want to install an led like the daymaker, I find the bulb shoots light everywhere, want it to be focused.

agreed, the bulb was a great place to start but was all over the place. I got one of these: https://www.cyclopsadventuresports.c...oved_p_98.html

I needed the $26 special bracket to mount it. The headlight is a rebranded Denali so you can go through twisted throttle for the same thing. The price at cyclops went up since I ordered (probably because they were undercutting twisted throttle). I guess it might worth getting the bracket and then any other 5 3/4 headlight and see how that goes.

I have the OPT 7, it comes with a 2 year warranty, it went bad after 1 year 11 months, and they replaced it in a couple days.

I have the Denali light with the adapter. Love how much light it throws forward and to the sides.

Definitely not the least expensive option but it's what I wanted

+1 on just throwing a Cyclops 3800 lumen (or the insane 7000 lumen version) into the bulb bucket. Saved my butt more than once, and both the visibility and acuity are excellent. My #1 upgrade on all my bikes.
