Anyone else notice just very slight off cadence with thier idle? Detected it before with stock exhaust but it is easier to pick up with the cobra slip on. Can you you adjust idle on this thing?
On the Raider we have an IAC (Idle Air Controller) I think that the 1300 uses similar fuel injection so I would look into that. We can remove it on our raiders and install a manual idle adjustment.
if it's hunting for it's idle a fuel controller probably won't do anything. Look into the possibility of Yamaha having equipped the stryker with an IAC. I'm telling you. They probably did. Look into removing it. It works wonders for the Raiders.
Not neccesarily Need one, but now that i have one, I would never have bike without it. So many improvements to what is already an awesome bike!. But no you won't need one with just the slip-on. Open up the air inlet side with the slip-on and I would say you better get one.
Or check your plugs.....one may be fouled out. If not then if you have any issues with idle.....the IAC may need to come out, as Matt stated.
