I don't buy warranty's unless its a vehicle I cannot work on or just known to have problems. Most vehicles now days are pretty good out the gate.
If you are the full sticker price guy, stop reading here.
Remember these rules.
1 educate yourself
2 negotiate the price
3 negotiate your finance interest rate. May not apply to bad credit.
4 if you desire a warranty, negotiate that too. yes it is negotiable.
5. YOU can still back out your contract even after you sign it. Here is the ticket to that~ DO NOT DRIVE THE NEW RIDE OFF THE PROPERTY, this is taking delivery. Take delivery and you are done! good luck.
If you are buying from an individual, test drive for at least 30 minutes. Take your time and look at all the connectors. They may unplug something to keep the dummy light from going off. Or just take to a mechanic.
All shop's should honor a warranty, they just have to file for their money a different way. IF they say something negative, it's just a lazy fat bastardo ~ talk to someone else or go somewhere else. Money is money, I never turn it away. I take the big deals with the little deals. Mention that to the finance guy. He will get you signed up and out the office before you know it.
then play this cd when you drive off!
Counting all the ace-holes in the room, well I'm certainly not alone!
