Default Gas mileage??

I have a 2013 Stryker and was wondering about the fuel tank?? How long before the tank is empty?? And when the tank come up with one mark on it, does that mean gas needed, or does a low fuel light come on....?? This is the first time I had a Stryker and don't want to get stuck somewhere without gas

I have a 2011 and I get about 160 per tank. My reserve light usually comes on at about 125 and if I remember correctly when the fuel light comes on you are at 1.25 gallons left

I usually get about 160 km (100 miles) until the display comes on and shows one "o". At that point, you still have another 50 km (30 miles) or so depending on your riding. There is a yellow light that comes on at some point and the display will change again to start counting distance up. That means find gas fast. There is info in the manual about this.

I ride mostly in town and get about 100 miles a tank. Most of that is because of my riding habits....

When I bought my stryker I was getting 120-130 miles per tank. Since buying I have tried to improve that and added a windscreen, switched to synthetic MOTUL 7100 10w40, put a size 240 tire on the rear and drilled four 3/8" holes in each baffle end plate. I now get a consistent 45 m.p.g. or 180 per tank.

How many miles you get on a specific tank of gas depends on how you rode that tank of gas...
1/4 tank indicator comes on when it thinks you have 1/4 tank. If you get the 40-42 mpg per the manual you have about that left before running dry.
Low fuel light and count up start about 1/2 way through the 1/4 tank left and in general it is best to get gas before that count-up hits 20 to be on the safe side.

All that said I have sweat it out a few times and the most I ever added was 3.8 gallons and I was at 27 on the low fuel count-up. Have not run it dry so don't know exactly how much fuel it takes and really don't want to find out
Then again .2 gallons at 42 MPG is just over 8 miles so I was close enough to running out of gas for me!!

After Ivan's flash I get 43+ mpg so in general a tank for me is 150 miles easy.

P.S. A GPS or smartphone is really helpful when looking for gas if you are low and in unfamiliar territory...

I just did my first tank after my ECU flash and I went from about 100 miles a tank to 130 miles a tank. That 130 miles was done 10% pre flash 90% re-flash so I should do better than that on my next tank.

I usually fill up at about 130 - 135 miles but at that point I am just getting to where the last O shows on the display. I've yet to see the gas light come on or the count up. Maybe I should push it someday just to make sure it works.

I'm right around the 125 mark, and I too have never seen the gas light or count down
