Already found out. The Stryker has a modified version of the V Star 1300cc. It has a different ignition system and different fuel injection mapping. Also has a higher cam lift and different roller rockers than the standard v1300. And the air box is larger and 2-1-2 tuned pipes ad to it's punch. I Still can't find any numbers in comparison to how fast the Raider is o to 60 and quarter mile. Stryker vs Harley Davidson 2011 Rocker c which has 280cc more than the Stryker lost to the Stryker by2 tenths of a second 0 to 60(Stryker in 6.33 seconds), ( and I have seen other posts claiming 5.5 and 5.7), was left in the dust in the quarter and on curves was no competition at all. I'm thinking the Stryker would beat the Raider 0 to 60 but get left behind in the Quarter. As I think I read somewhere the Strykers time in the quarter was 13.28,(and one claim 13.25), (97mph) and on the Raider forums some one said even slightly modded Raider wouldn't do more than low 12vs (114mph) in the quarter. does anyone have facts on What the Raider will do 0 to 60?

I've ridden the Raider and I'd find it hard to believe that the Stryker would beat the Raider in 0 to 60, and I love my Stryker. The only true way of finding out would be the same rider trying both bikes 3 times and adding the three results and dividing by 3.

That would be the way to go I think. Cause I was wondering about the stats I been reading and what riders they were using. The article Stryker vs Rocker c states 6.33 0 to 60 and some one in this forum says he did 5.7. But Still lest here some Raider Facts?

Not sure I'd be the best one to add anything here...don't do much racing..after I added the V&H 2-1 and PC111 mine dynoed @ 96.8 hp/119 trq...I'm still running stock air..there have been some guys posting that they have run the quarter in the low 12's and high 11's with one saying he came in the high 10's........as for 0 - 60 don't know.
But as someone else mentioned you would need the same rider to ride both same day same conditions....I didn't get the Raider to go fast (even though it is fun to knock off an HD every once in a while) gotta buddy that's got a Busa....now that's fast!

Ya it's always fun putting the dust on a HD. Already Dusted a couple on my Stryker. Pushed one up the on ramp and at 60+ went by him like he was riding a bicycle. lol. But I'm asking about the Raider cause I'm thinking of passing the Stryker down to the little women and getting one my self but I gota keep in mind the roads I ride up here it's hard enough to keep a handle on my Stryker on.

I've not ridden a Stryker I know Deja did and she liked the way it handled...only complaints I have with Yamaha was putting a Metzler on as a stock tire 7,000 and tire is done switched to the Avon Cobra getting alot better mileage...the other is burying the battery what a pita but I guess its ok cause I just had to replace it after 4 yrs....don't know what the roads are like where you ride but I do know the Raider has kicked butt on Tail of the Dragon, Diamond Back, The Snake, Hellbender and Shiners Run
What more can you say about the Stryker or Raider....cruisers that handle like a sport bike and the power to kick butt.

Before you but the Raider and pass the Stryker to the wife, you may want to ride it first. Have ridden both and I like the Stryker better. You may buy it and end up having the wife drive the Raider. ;D

Ya that's good to hear. Only had the Stryker 6 weeks and falling in love with it and the wife has only been riding the 950 that 6 weeks and she is just getting comfortable with it so by the time we get tired of these bikes they might have a newer version of the Stryker that puts everything else in the audience. lol.

I have Hammered both bike on the throttle, and the Raider is faster. Sorry Guys but it is a monster. without mods, i am still looking to ride one with mod's. I ride the roadliner with no mods and just love the power. went up aginst a buddies raider and he smoked me ( i really did not want to try to hard though), and we have the same motor just a little different gearing in the rear pully. 8)

Haven't riddin a Raider, but would think the difference is the same from a VTX1800 and a VTX1300. 1300 is more maneuverable but 1800 is more powerful with more torque and a lot heavier.

I had VTX 1300 and an 1800, I found the 1800 to be a slug, while I found the 1300 much quicker off the line and definitely more nimble, always felt like I was fighting the 1800 in turns, but I also know people that love them

+1. The Raider was definitely more powerful but the Stryker was so much easier to maneuver and ride.
That is what the missus says ... the Raider is too big for her and prefers the smaller Stryker ...
