Did a poker run yesterday, 130 miles total. I was pleased to note that this bike is very comfortable. Had a little drag with a what i believe was a sportster 1200 (bright yellow) needless to say he got left in the dust. Anyone have a good advice for engine guard/highway peg combo? I like the look of the yamaha engine guard but wonder if I can get far enough out with pegs to clear the air filter housing.

a couple of guys have been doing it that way. i was thinking about just getting pegs that scope out far enough and bypassing the engine guards for now. and just hooking them up to the bike frame
