Hi All,

You might have seen my WTB thread a few weeks ago where I said I was looking to add Stryker parts to my 1300. That work is finished. I still have some painting to do, but mechanically it's done and I'm riding.
A big Thank You to all the Stryker forum members that graciously contributed parts from their rides! Couldn't have done it without you!

P.S. find a couple more pics in the gallery

Is the single exhaust muffler from the vstar 1300 a direct bolt over to the Stryker? I would love to put that single muffler on my stryker.

Did you have to modify anything to get that exhaust on your bike?

VStar 1300 & Stryker Exhaust Brackets

Hi Guys,

I'm sorry to say that neither bracket will bolt right on to the other bike. In the pic below, I have the Stryker bracket mounted using the top bolt, and it's hanging against the lower-front bolt. It's a bit short, but covering the lower-rear bolt hole.
The 1300 bracket is on the floor, below the bike.
I had an adapter plate made to allow for the Stryker exhaust bracket to mount to my 1300 frame. I can imagine you would have to do something similar to go the reverse direction.
Given that, the rest of the exhaust was a part-for-part replacement to the Stryker (pipes, clamps...etc.).

Looking good. Just needs some chrome and some bright paint.
Still looks good though these bikes are always a work in progress
