As nice as the Stryker is, It sure seems to hold absolutely no value on the used market. Kinda sucks...

Good luck on your sale... The price looks right for someone to enjoy.

The unfortunate truth is mods add little or nothing to resale value. Something I've had to face many times when selling past projects. Buyers will check bluebook value for a given year and expect to pay somewhere near regardless of what bolt-ons have been added. With new , 0 mile 2011 leftovers selling at $8000-$8500 it's simply a harsh reality.

That is true to a certain extent, although if somebody was looking for a deal and was planning to do those mods anyway, that would certainly be considered to sway the buyer towards a purchase. So I would have to say in that case the mods do make a difference. If there were no mods done that the buyer intended to do then the buyer would be inclined to negotiate the price down so as to be able to afford to do the mods.

In this case. I will Keep my Black Mamber in the family till her skin no longer sheds.....and just add another futuristic bike later in live. Hopefully ducati nails à more sexier cruiser for midlife crisis.

I was offered 7K right out from my dealer and that's at this time of year. He told me if I still had the bike come May he would have no problem giving me 7500 for it.

I have too many toys. The stryker, Jet ski, Camaro. Most of my friends have either stopped riding bikes or wrecked. With all my work and school I won't have time to enjoy all three and the stryker is the one I get the least enjoyment out of.

I'm like you, have toys. Stryker, Jet ski, boat, and a modified big turbo 1.8 jetta. Myself I'd probably let go of the jet ski. Just like ridding bike. You need a few people on the water to ride with or its just plain boring. Knowing I live here in Virginia Beach. I can only ride the ski 1 season compared to the bike, I can ride all year round. Well good luck on your sale bro, I hate to see a member leave knowing I'm a newbie myself....
