Other then colors, are there any differences between the 2011 and 2013 models? I've decided on a Stryker for my next bike, but I've found a "brand new" 2011 dealer carry over model, copper/rust color that I can get $2000 cheaper then a 2013. So I was just wondering if Yamaha/Star have made any changes? Thanks for any ideas.

Also, before you buy, make sure you do some research. After many hours on this forum, I've come to the indisputable conclusion that the fastest Strykers are Raven. (My research may be slightly biased due to the fact that I bought a Raven.)

Yeah the Ravens are just a tad faster than the Coppers and the Blue and reds are thereabouts!

Wow! Sounds like the there is a huge difference, and it's all due to the color. Thanks for the responses, I hope to be a full fledged Stryker forum member who actually owns one by the end of the week............and I personally think Red is the fastest, based on much scientific study of course.

the raven is the fastest the only reason you think the red one is fastest is when you look behind you dont see the raven but if you look ahead see that spec that is the raven :D

you are all overlooking the true difference between the years... Bng's.

Copper... Is by far, the best riding, most reliable, most beautiful, head turning, stryker that will automatically cause women to drop their panties!

Are there two Stryker models? Is there a Stryker.then a Stryker Raven? If so what is different?
Nope ! Raven is just the name used for the Black models.

In the US Starting in 2015 all turn signals we're LED and the flasher/canceller module is for LED. Other than Color as stated before is only difference.

OK I've owned both the 2011 Blue and the 2013 white. The White was just a tad bit faster off the line but the blue pulled on it and faster top speed in each gear and top end.
I owned them both at the same time.
Honestly felt a difference between the two.
It seemed to be in the tuning. The 2013 was tuned for low end but lost power at high rpm. While the 2011 had constant power until it red lined.
And you could feel the difference, the whit one snapped your head back just a bit more on take offs but lost it's pull at higher rpm.
The blue was definitely faster. The only possible explanation is fuel mapping.
BTW the blue is faster than all of them period.

Toby... love that pic. Two Strykers in the wild. If I ever saw that in real life... I would chase you down for another pic.
Tanks and I'm sure I have a lot more with the wife's Stryker we did 11,000 mile when she had that one.
This was Crater Lake Oregon.
