Hello all,

I’ve been lurking here since last April. I was going to get a 2012 Stryker or Raider last year, but only had my current bike 2 years, now it’s three years and time to make a move. I get bored fast.

Anyway, I’m looking into getting a 2013 Candy Red, blacked out Stryker. I have not seen one in the flesh yet and was wondering if the tank decals are tape with clear coat over them or are they on the surface of the paint and removable?

Also, I wanted to know from current owners, if there are any known issues with the Stryker or something you don't like about it. Sometimes with newer bike productions there are issues with something. What I really like is that I haven’t seen any complaints about this bike here or anywhere else.

I have yet to see any 2013 models yet either. From what I can see from the pics on the website the tank decals look to be cleared like the current ones on the road. I have a 2011 raven and I haven't had any issues an love it

I have a 2013 raven as it popped up under the serial number given to the insurance. Plus the dealer said it was a '13 when I purchased last year. I've seen the one you want. Looks good but I couldn't resist in the black out affect. Issues. None. Whatever you see and read on this site, go for it. Past strykers are identical. You wouldn't regret what you buy. The only thing I notice between '13 and year past models are the decals. And yes there cleared...

Thanks K9 and Zona. I like the Raven also, but my last two bikes were black, so I thought I'd go for something a little different. Who knows, when I buy, it just may wind up being Raven. The black paint scheme has always been my favorite.

Yea me too. If u look really close at the stryker word, its font like a rustic design. I would luv to take the white stripe off and leave the grey color , star, and stryker word on

I have had no problems with my 2012, love the bike and its a smooth and comfortable ride

I have 2012 and my only complaint is where they put the stock horn but thats easily dealt with. Rides like a dream and gets lots of attention and the best bike on the market in that price range 8) buy two

Agreed Chop Chop. The horn placement looks like an afterthought. Odd for an otherwise well thought out design. I already have an aftermarket horn to put on when I find a new spot for it. Oh yeah, I have to buy the bike first.

Another 2011 here. No issues at all, love the bike. One thing I like on the 2013 blacked out versions, is they blacked out the trim around the gas cap. Was chrome on the 2011, definitely like the blacked out version better. Hmmmmm.....wonder if I can get the 2013 trim for my 2011?

I got the black tank trim for my 2011 Raven. I don't mind the looks of the tank trim like most on here, but wanted it in black. I messed up painting my chrome original so I ordered it in black.

Thx mik but I have a lot still to add on. Saving up for bigger things like the exhaust if pcs hurry up on it. I'm putting on the scootmod extension on next week when it comes in. Cant wait

I must say I like the 2013 raven graphics much better than the 2011. That was almost a deal breaker when I bought my raven, had it not been such a great ride. Really need to get them removed.
