Yeah, definitely HD Clone of Stryker. 7000.00 will buy you a lot of mods on the Stryker.

Isn't it a bigger motor? I thought it was a 103, we have a 81

exactly...our 80" motor outperforms their 103"
Skwerlee is right! Son in law has a 2012 96" and no where near the power of our 80". 103 is near powerful as ours, but then still won't rev out like our Strykers. Sh!tload of lower end torque, but no show on high end.

I admit i like the looks of the breakout alot, i also like the rocker. But ultimately a lot of my decision was based on liquid cooling. I looked hard at the raider, but the air cooling turned my stomach. My 2 main choices of bike was either a vrod (I know not a real harley, but i dont buy a name), or the stryker. The stryker was all around more comfortable to me, plus the dealer gave me way more for my suzuki on trade than the hd dealer would. Ultimately i am very happy with my choice. I am one of the few in my area and have gotten a ton of comments about the bike from people, including hardcore hd riders. .

Don't get me wrong, I love my bike(still wish I got the black)...but at some point in life, I will own an HD...

I do remember being at the bar with 3 HDs and 2 Crotch Rockets, and everyone came up to me and asked about my bike...

Someone did mention in the next 5 years, HD is going to go to liquid cooled..

Personally I think the HD Breakout is targeting the Raider and Stryker as well as the Fury etc. It's the "style" of bike they didn't have before... The engine is right between our Yamahas in specs if nothing else.

Sat on it for 5 minutes and didn't like it but they offered(actually the main sales guy said if I rode it I'd want it:)) so I will go back for that when I have an hour to kill. Fit and finish was there but the seating was not "in" the bike like the Stryker. I'm reserving full judgement till I get it out for a decent ride. Don't think I will trade in or anything but like I said now that they have this "style" the HD loyalists that lusted after our bikes have an option that many will surely take. Just my .02

Test ride

Had the HD demo truck here in Denver last week. Rode the Breakout, the Fat Boy and Fat Bob. The engine and trans were slicker in the shifting and the the 6th gear was nice. Still not as fast and comfy as the Stryker. They said they only offered 2 in forward control extensions on the Breakout and the Fat Bob, would not be as comfortable as the PCS/Scootmod Extensions on the Stryker for the tall guys. Nice bikes but that price point.......ouch!!
