Hello All. New here. From VA USA
I Have a 2013 yamaha stryker. It's sick LOVE IT. My question of the day.. rear tire size what do you have? I'm running a 240/40 r18 and I have a few concerns. (Couple chunks out of my side wall) I think the belt guard is hitting "at times" can't feel it or see it hitting But getting ready for a longer type ride and might want to go a touch thinner ??

Hi, here some with 240s have cut it a little to prevent but if It's the cause should be seen clearly, It's only plástic..

I use the Avon Cobra Chrome and it runs very close to the guard. I think it would be hard to slide a sheet of paper between them. Different tires have more side wall bulge than others so it's definitely something to pay attention to when choosing a tire. I have been thinking about trimming my guard just to be safe.

Yes super close. I just bought an Avon last night. Current is Bridgestone. Imma take it to my guys and have them install and check it out.

Very nice! As far as chunks of tire that would probably be for two reasons first and most common is the bolts that go through the fender that hold the sissy bar on are probably sticking too far in . Second reason- Especially if the rear is lowered.

I have had many bikes. This is my favorite by far.

Same here. I have ridden cross US on it, up to Dawson YT, thousands of km. Performed like a champ and super comfortable, powerful and reliable every time. Easy to maintain, and looks great too.

I do have a ton of fun on my URAL 2WD in the winter months... man I love that thing too. But if I had to only own one bike for the rest of my life, I'd have to go with the Stryker at this point. Although... I could still happily ride a URAL at age 90...
