sounds great, guess i need to give the old girl a dambath now
Photoshopping the background is against the rules.. I'm in though.. I will try and think of some good places to take the pics.. based on past pictures, I'm willing to bet Kraazy Mike gets the cover... Although I think the one with the most votes should get the cover, and the month of his choice. Once you hang a calendar, the cover isn't seen.Great idea for a calendar. Maybe strykers of the month for 2013 could be the bikes for the calendar. Then even some photoshop backgrounds would really make the bikes and calendar pop.
Not everyone that will be entering may have access to photo shop or know how to use it I don't. So in all fairness no photo shop.Great idea for a calendar. No...See this is where everyone has to get creative...maybe you've never actually tried taking the perfect picture (I'm not saying you)...a few years ago I took a road trip and shot up 9 rolls of 24 exposures thinking I had some really great shots out of over 200 only 2 were good. Can photo shop be used to edit the picture? Not add new background, but make it look better? Highlights.. shadows.. etc..? I don't really know how to use it, but just checking..
I see where you're getting at with stating no photoshopping, but if you're limiting even minute edits like tone and contrast then count me out. I was thinking about using this picture, but according to your guidelines I can't use it. It just has lighting, tone, and contrast edits. As a photographer I look for the perfect picture, but your rules lend to no artistic leeway.No...See this is where everyone has to get creative...maybe you've never actually tried taking the perfect picture (I'm not saying you)...a few years ago I took a road trip and shot up 9 rolls of 24 exposures thinking I had some really great shots out of over 200 only 2 were good.
Perhaps I should have said no photo shopped enhancements originally.
Like I said earlier how many have photo shop or know how to use it...just trying to keep a level playing field....if people don't feel they can take a raw image and submit it without enhancements....then perhaps I should reconsider taking on this project....nothing against you or anyone else - if you don't want to be involved that's your decision...will I bend on the rules?
