Wanted to say hello to everyone from East Tennessee! Bought my brand new 2012 Candy Red Stryker today, and unfortunately had to tow her home, thanks to the snow. But put her first 5 miles on, and cannot wait for dry weather! I'm trying to figure out what size/type windshield to get now- love the bare look, but enjoy the protection from wind, gravel, and june bugs! Any suggestions? I'm looking for the smallest/least noticeable out there but one that still offers good protection.

Welcome from Chicago. One of the least noticeable windshields would be the boulevard from Yamaha. If you want a taller windshield, you can get the rifle replacement shield that fits right onto the boulevard mounts.

Enjoy your Stryker, you will love it. I too am hoping for the weather to break and warm up. :welcome:

Oh, and I see you are in East Tennessee. You should consider coming to the Stryker Rally in Maggie Valley this year. It is July 31st - Aug 4th.

Its a combined Stryker and Raider Rally. Here is the link.

I saw that, and I'm hoping my work schedule will cooperate so I can at least ride over one day. Beautiful riding through these hills! And thank you for the info- there really ought to be a wind tunnel where you can take your bike and try out diffirent windshields! If I'm ever rich... lol

Welcome from Oregon. The Stryker won't disappoint. I prefer the bare look but wanted some protection so I supersized my Boulevard windshield & have been very happy with the results.
