Well I finnaly got my used v-star 1300, 30 tooth pulley on ebay shipped for $60.00 installed this weekend. I also installed my garmen GPS inside my Bullet fairing using just the suction cup mount and set my Speedo healer after only 5 tries at (neg) -09.5. Bingo dead on at 60mph. Now I have to say I will agree that yes the Stryker should have came with the 30TOOTH front pulley on it from the factory. I have tested my Stryker two up all weekend and did not get to test the new 30th mod one up. But that is okay as this is a better test for rollon tests in fifth gear from 60mph to 80mph. Much better and since I live in the GA mountians the first to secound shift is WAY better. Now as far as gas mileage , well, today we went for a ride and I rode pretty normal, the big difference is that I now ,even double up, dont have to shift down to forth gear when hitting a easy hill, I stay in fifth alot more now. So the first fill up Was a low of 47.2mpg if I went with a 1.8 gal fill up at 85 TRUE miles from my GPS or if I went with 1.7gals it would of been 50mpg! Now I use two different fill up suggestions because when topping off with the gas tank filler mod I have you can go 1 tenth of a gallon difference? So lets say I did at least 47.2mpg,LOL. This was all around rideing with most high way speeds at between 60-70mph and then mountian twisty rideing. Over all I want to thank you guys for the pulley swap info. I had my girl friend take a pic of the speedo and GPs at 60MPH. she wasn't dead strait, kind took the pic from the side. As you can see the GPS is very readable and useable inside the bullit fairing. Im also using the stock 210 tire . All I can say is this. DO the 30tooth mod if you haven't, its worth it. Now maybe in a few weeeks Ill have enough funds to get my Stryker dynoed and maybe next two weeks when ill be alone that one saturday ill do a top speed run also

Nice man- once I figure out my popping issue then I be doing the 30th pulley mod myself.
Can you get your bike dynoed with ejk tuner cuz I always thought that dyno creates a custom map and you need power commander for that. Am I missing something?

Well Im sure if you wanted to get the perfect air fuel ratio across the board you can tune the EJK on a dyno just like any other adjustable tuner. Just a trial and error adjustment like a carberator. I don't have too much poping on high speed slow downs coming down the mountians. The little poping I do have I kinda like it. My 2012 SS Camaro does it a little too:nod:. I think the EJK is pretty much spot on for my Cobra TRI-FLOW pipe and air set up I am using. But I really want to get a base line air mixture and HP and TQ dyno read out. Im really diggin this Stryker engine and am going to look into Patric raceing over the winter about doing a port and polish job on the heads. I think this motor has alot of potential just in the head flow? Time will tell:biggrin1:.

I have a wide band sensor with A/F gauge and noticed that the fuel is shut off on hard decel. So you will always have popping on hard decel. Other wise you should be able to adjust for that.

I have been thinking about the 30 tooth pully swap myself, I am still getting used to riding a bike so tall in the gears as this one. If I can ever find a 30 tooth pulley fairly inexpensive I may just go for it =)

Just keep checking ebay . use the V-star 1300 pulley search or v-star 1300 parts. That is where I found one. Got it for $60.00 shipped.

Still loving your 30t pulley mod, yammy? Just ordered mine and a speed/odo corrector. Cape Cod is mostly 40mph and less plus all the tourist traffic so I'm looking forward to a better mannered bike at lower speeds. How much harder does the engine run at highway speeds?

I could probably just calculate it out to find the rpm difference, but my brain is fried between work and dealing with my pregnant wife who is due on Thursday lol

Im totally keeping the 30th pulley on my bike. Highway rollons are slighty better. Gas mileage seems to be the same. I rode all weekend alone and both days averaged between
46-48the mpg. I pulled one modded hardley going up blood mtn this weekend. He was cheating and using both lanes and I mostly used one lane. He would catch me in the tight turnes and I pulled him in the short straits. I heard his rev limiter kicking in alot more than mine. It was a fat boy style hardley. Im still not hitting my pegs. I got about a 1/4 left to the edge left.Ill get yet.lol.

Ok so I want to hear more. I have raced a hardley fat boy as well. Are you say he beat you but you caught up on straights or you beat him whole way and caught up on straights. I beat the last 3 by a cars length or more in 1 case. 31'tooth
