My Son built this air cleaner from this old man's stock air cleaner and $57.00worth of parts at Advance Auto. He took my stock air cleaner housing and cut out the throttle body portion and surfaced it flat. Then installed flange and 90 degree elbow & K&N air cleaner from Advance auto.Just a few more small things to do to finish the mount tomorrow, but here is where he is at now.

what was the stock air cleaner off of? Another stryker?
He had his Stock air cleaner off his Stryker and Mine after he trimmed away excess in the same picture to show differences.

What an awesome idea! This has my mind racing with possibilities. Love it.
Hey Fujums. Yes and there are many different air cleaners that you can put on that tube available at most big parts store chains.

Nice job, that looks clean! If he makes a spacer to put between the two pieces he could port it and probably get even better flow?
Yes SJ, Thats what he is thinking of doing now. He still needs to get a tuner before he runs with this setup very much.

Love the idea's you keep throwing out here 11. Let your son know it looks great.
He thanks you all. He is pretty proud of this coming up with it all by himself. Could be fine tuned a little more like a Fancier clamp at Airfilter and He is thinking about making something to dress up the filter itself. We will update as he gets farther with it.

It's a bang up job ... will be using his ground work for doing this on the wife's bike this winter. He should be proud!
