5th Annual South East Raider Rally
July 31st – Aug 4th, 2013
We will be returning to Maggie Valley NC to enjoy some of the best riding that Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee have to offer.
Many of these roads were made famous by some of the most notorious moonshiners in the area.

The 2012 Rally was our largest and best Rally to date with over 50 Raiders in attendance and a couple Strykers.
We look forward to having an even larger turnout in 2013 our goal is and has always been to reach an attendance of over 100 Raiders plus more Strykers.

Our host hotels will again be Best Western Mountainbrook Inn and Microtel
Room rates for 2013:
Sunday July 28 – Thursday August 1 - $55 per nite
Friday August 2 & Saturday August 3 $85 per nite

Maggie Valley Rides will include
Blue Ridge Parkway, Moonshiner 28, Tail of the Dragon, Thunder Rd, The Rattler, Devils Drop,
Cherohala Skyway, Foothills Parkway

Mt. Mitchell, Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Ceasars Head State Park, Table Rock State Park, Whitewater Falls, Looking Glass Falls, Bald River Falls, Sliding Rock, Bridal Veil Falls
Maps and directions will be available upon request.

The Rally website has been updated with hotel and ride info...we've added over 1,700 miles of area rides but you're never more than 100 miles from the hotel for the return trip.

Lets make it a combined rally that includes the Stryker. I am having trouble getting a Stryker Rally off the ground....

We don't have a problem with that-the hotels are already set up we have the ride routes set up (over 1,800 miles to choose from) Christopher and StrykerJan were there this year....Stryker owners are more than welcome to join in!!!!!

Jeff i thought we had several interested in a Stryker Rally? I'm ok doing a combined, just curious.

Guys it's not the name of the Rally that matters...it's all about meeting other people that have a common interest - their bike whether it be a Stryker or Raider...over the last 4 years we have developed friendships with people from all over the country as well as other countries - for some it has turned into a week long vacation.......besides it's a lot of fun...the Maggie Valley area has some of the best riding in the country

We had a whole group of riders from Kentucky the last two years...one of them brought something called Apple Pie...not the kind you eat.. :eek:

In 2012 six routes were selected totaling over 900 miles of some of the best riding the area has to offer. For 2013 five new routes have been added bringing the total to over 1,700 miles for your riding enjoyment – from scenic to challenging twists and turns.

Routes include:
• Leisurely ride through the Smokey Mountain National Park to the Cherohala Skyway or along the Blue Ridge Parkway with its many scenic overlooks (highest elevation on Pkwy Richard Balsam)
• Views of some of the natural wonders the area has to offer: Whitewater Falls, Bald Rock, Table Rock State Park, Bridal Veil Falls, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls, Ceasars Head State Park, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock
• For riders that are seeking a little more excitement: Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Wolf Mountain Run, The Little Snake, The Rattler, and many more
• Rides to some of the area’s best kept secrets – Bearwallow Mtn Rd, Ellijay Rd, TN32, Explorer Rd, NC 63 and Devils Drop

A 17 X 11 tri-fold map with directions will be available –

jeff281 it will be great to have you and many more Stryker owners join in on the fun in 2013 - those of you that might not be familiar with the Maggie Valley NC area it is located in Western North Carolina and has some of the greatest roads around - not to mention being close to Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Pigeaon Forge and Asheville. If you don't want to ride everyday all day you have some other choices - Ziplining @ Ghost Town in the Sky - Class III whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River - take a tour through the Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum located only a half mile from the hotel or just chill out by the pool.
Plus you will get to meet other Stryker owners - check out their current mods - make some new friends and in case I forgot to mention it, some really great riding!!
