Just installed a 8k hid light ... While i was painting the chrome items black ...
Real easy mod ..installed the ballast under the fuel tank trim cover ...

Its hard to say what brand ...i have hid's in everything i have
as longas its the one with the small ballast ..like i have in the pic... ill do some checking tomorrow and let you all know ... 8)

The 6k is the ones i've been looking at on ebay. My buddy has 6k in his headlights on his Tundra and it looks and works great. He has the 8K in his driving lights.

The kit i have on the bike is #[email protected]%^&* BRIGHT!!! Has a small tint of blue ... I have seen cheap HID kits that's junk..... Just becareful what brand yo go with .
I have them in my truck ..hi/lo/fogs... also my bike ...also my wife's car..hi/lo/fogs..
.............Im going to get a headlight off a Victory motorcycle soon should look much better i hope ...lol

I think that 6000K hid light would give you more better output. All pics are looking good.

Looks good man!!! I recently installed the DDM 55 watt 6K HID kit (http://www.yamahastarstryker.com/index.php/topic,3383.0.html) and I love it. That little plastic piece is great for hiding stuff.
