Ok. Cleaned the tail. Easy enough. Take it all apart, cut the metal bracket, cut the plastic off, put it back together. Really easy actually. And I'm not a metal worker I promise. Really happy with result.

Moved tag to side with 79 cents L bracket from Ace. Until I'm done with my 'real' bracket, this wil do. Done in 53 seconds.

I did it. 4 x 1/4 in each pipe. Love the sound. 5 minute mod.

Also, my Radiii mirrors came in. Don't like the silver nuts. Gotta work on that. Bolt on mod, 5 minutes.

Nice work.

I got my fender tail on the workshop bench, waiting to cut it up till I find something for a plate light because tickets get expensive.
For Florida riders: we can side mount, horizontally or vertically, lit or not. That is our state law. When vertically mounted we have to have electronic toll device mounted, as toll cameras cannot read vertically.

Florida statute 316.2085 paragraph 3:

(3) The license tag of a motorcycle or moped must be permanently affixed to the vehicle and may not be adjusted or capable of being flipped up. No device for or method of concealing or obscuring the legibility of the license tag of a motorcycle shall be installed or used. The license tag of a motorcycle or moped may be affixed horizontally to the ground so that the numbers and letters read from left to right. Alternatively, a license tag for a motorcycle or moped for which the numbers and letters read from top to bottom may be affixed perpendicularly to the ground, provided that the registered owner of the motorcycle or moped maintains a prepaid toll account in good standing and a transponder associated with the prepaid toll account is affixed to the motorcycle or moped.

Love love love the mirrors. More than enough visibility, and at highway speed even less vibration than stock mirrors.

Today removed all decals. Looks much cleaner. Also removed the reflectors from the front fender. By unscrewing the two bolts on the right, you can take the bracket out that holds it. On the left same, but you might wanna trim the bracket instead of removing, to keep brake cable in place...

I picked up a set of kuryakyn L.E.D. License Plate Bolt Lights. They seem to throw a decent amount of light

Miamigijs,

demonscycle.com has a black yamaha adaptor kit for mirrors. I ordered some knock off reaper mirrors from them and got the black kit to mount them.

Here's a link:

Just note in the order you want the black adaptors. They shipped my stuff the same day I ordered too!
Thnx a lot!!! Just ordered them!!
I love this forum
