So this is another attempt at a driver back rest for my Stryker. An eye sore for sure but very functional. Being that I can't ride for long with my bad back, a back rest helps. If only I could figure out a stylish design that also works well........ maybe ill give it one more attempt.

My back hits the middle of the pad, so I don't feel the point, I rode 30 min this morning and the ride was awsome. it really locks you into the bike. and I can totally relax my body so im not fighting the wind with my core, shoulders or back. I just thought it looked a bit out of place at first. we'll see.

Ya, im lucky I have access to a shop with all the tools I need, cutters, grinders, welders, upolstry and paint etc... the last two I made were from scrap, so all it cost me was time. I'm working on a round bar one now. Should look pretty good as well.

Form follows function. If that backrest is the difference between riding comfortably or not riding at all, then it is perfect. Tweak it, bling it and you're good to go.
