What type of tire repair kit do you carry with you? I've been starting to log some real miles by turning onto that obscure road to see where it takes me. On my 130 mile cruise yesterday while in the middle of nowhere I started to think, what the **** am I gonna do if I got a flat. It could be more then a few miles just to the next intersection and if theres no signs you could turn and walk the wrong way. If and when it ever happens I just want something to get me home/dealer so that I can have the tire replaced.

I am using this.. I read good review on this product. Innovations In Cycling Tire Repair And Inflation Kit Street
Thanks, looks good and all the reviews were positive except for the size of the pouch. The only thing though is they all mention repairing the back tire only. Which leads me to my next question is the front tire on the Stryker a tube?

I always carry a running suit and shoes for that exact reason . My wife had me microchiped so I won't get lost , she did that right after she got me fixed ...... Hope this helps !
LOL, no running shoes for this guy. I not sure about the microchip. She may have implanted one secretly so she knows where I am but she would never admit it because then if I did breakdown she would have no excuse as to why she couldn't find me for hours.

They say rear tire only due to safety reasons. If you patch a front tire and then think its safe to ride and it blows out they don't want you to sue them. I personally would never run a patched time in the front. Maybe in the middle of nowhere and had no cell service maybe but Id call my towing insurance on that one.

The kit comes with patches and plugs but it was the reviewers of the product who only mentioned back tire repairs. I'm not comfortable with any repaired tire, front of back. I would have it replaced ASAP.

I just run the ride on product, and the stuff works....peace of mind on long hauls on backroads...if its worse than what the product can handle no kit is going to do anything either.
+ 1 I did also the same and don't worry about it

Here is everything you need... it is what I carry and have used...

Inflator:

sealant 8oz:
http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p/43/-/171/726/-/8644/Slime-Super-Duty-Tire-Sealant/tire+sealant

total price around $21.00 3 days to your door.

It ain't designed to ride on forever... but it will get you home so it can be changed... I have peronally rode over 300 miles on this stuff and could have gone much farther if I needed too.
