I didn't have a tuner when i installed my cobra swept pipes runs fine but it's running noticeably leaner after putting them on....in first and second gear riding around my neighborhood.

Luckily I was planning on ordering a fuel controller anyway and got the order put in Friday.

Thats why guys add the controller it puts the beef back into the engine when it gets leaned out because of the intake and exhaust mod. If you do the intake thats only half the job because you get all this extra cool air in but to get the benefit you have to get it out. Just like a fart you get gas from eating well you feel better after you fart.

Yeah if you add pipes + increase the air intake then it shouldn’t be just “bolt on-n-go,” you should get the air/fuel mixture right. My 3rd component was a DynoJet power commander dialed in on the dyno machine.

The first mod I did was to add the Cobra Drag pipes. Put over 500 miles on the bike before I added the Cobra Intake and Auto tuner. I had no issues running with just the pipes, but if you add the Intake you want the tuner to get the best performance out of the set-up.

I added pipes and intake.I have the tuner just not installed. I took it around the block and didn't make it. The bike stalled out and I can't get it started. Once I add the tuner it should work right? I thought the bike could at least run without the tuner. Any thoughts?

It should have made it around the block okay... That's weird.
Adding both without a tuner will lean the heck out of your bike and make it run real dang hot but just a putt around the block shouldn't have harmed it.
What pipes did you install?
What intake?
Did you hook up the little black hose to the back of the intake or plug it off?
If you capped it off then the bike will not run.
I know you are a new Stryker owner so I'll mention a few basic things to try.
Gas? :(
Make sure the bike is in neutral.
Sit on the bike with the kick stand UP
Pull in the clutch
Key on? !!
Does the starter switch turn the motor over?
