Would like to get feedback from riders that have swapped out the standard
seat. Mustang, Saddlemen, and Star all have 2 up options. I want to get one that
does not change the seat height and is better quality.

Just ordered the mustang seat with the removable backrest. should be here this weekend. Muatang seats are great. never had an issue with one. If you order via the internet at Mustang directly you get a 10% discount and regular UPS shipping is only $1.00 in the lower 48.

I ordered the Explorer seat from Saddleman weeks ago. Only to find out last week they discontinued it. Do not know what that means but none the less it's discontinued. So I ordered the Mustang seat yeasterday and they said it was back ordered till the end of June. Sorry to break all your hearts with that news . :-\

Bummer,,,,finding after market accessories tough to come by. Heading home to a tank bib from
Mustang and found them good to deal with. I do see that Saddlemen has an Explorer G-Tech
model # Y315OJS1, but it is a little odd looking. Well, I guess I am biding my time. Guess I will
get the Cobra autotuner sooner, since the Baron's BAK is causing some rough running.

Because of the thicker padding, you sit a little higher and little more forward. I have a bad back so the back support was more important to me. I figured I could move the controls forward if i had to but it seems to be a very comfortable riding position . The back rest adjusts up and down and forward and back so you can dial it in to your preference. Now that i have it I might never take it off!
