I've got Baron's Big Air Kit. I would not recommend it for the price they're asking. I'm not all that impressed with the filter, and they apparently don't have much quality control - I had to retap the holes in the cover plate before I installed it. They did a half assed job at best.

Didn't realize before I bought it that the cover plate is not the same shape as the filter, either - the corners of the cover plate stick up way passed the actual filter element, which I think looks a bit goofy.

The adapter plate was excellent, though, and it does work well and look good. I just don't think it's worth $300 by a long shot.

Personally I think it comes down to such a personal choice its hard to say, I thought about going with the adapter route then your options really open up as you could go with any harley intake...but I didn't like the cost breakdown myself so I went with the LA Choppers intake, quality is there but I'm not 100% happy either...I thought the filter ran all the way around including the face plate as it is screened I thought it was like some harley intakes that are open, but its just a cover plate...it works fine..fits fine and looks fine, just wasn't how I expected...I should have researched more. But looks cool..ha.

I have the Kuryakyn Hypercharger. I do like the look and it works great... BUT.. the only thing that I don't like is the weak operation of the butterfly valves on the front. I have decided not to hook them up until I get from this deployment, then maybe I will try and figure something out so they work better..

Hope that helps.

Hey Gator. You saying you have the LA Chopper Big Air Kit on your Stryker. That's the one I've been looking at. So I'm not understanding what your saying about the filter. The one I really want is the Arlen Ness Big Sucker. But $300 seems a lot. It is suppose to be the best of the air intakes, but $300. That's why I've been looking at the LA.

I don't believe there is any gains one vrs the other...not likely the la choppers one is full on from a design standpoint.

What I'm saying is the silver part you see that looks like a vent isn't a vent just a trim piece.

Thanks for the input guys. This forum is absolutely great for getting some good feedback. I was already thinkin I liked the cobra....I've added some chrome to my raven with v&h big radius pipes, so I think I may get the chrome powerflo. Just wanted to hear what everybody else was using. I've seen the LA choppers intakes on ebay, but didn't know if they were any good or not.
