I have a scorpio sr-i900 it has 2 way alarm got it from denniskirk.com. Its one of the more expensive alarms $329.00 shipped but what I liked about it more than the cheaper ones is that the siren is built into the module and it has built in battery backup and auto arm and disarm. The 2 way pager has great range I had it go off while the wife and I was seeing a movie some little kid climbed on the bike which was over a 100 yards away and thru several thick walls. The siren is really loud and it also has silent alarm. It comes with a universal kit which is all you need 30 minutes to install

it was a young kid guessing around 7 or 8 when I ran outside no one was around the bike a lady said there was a little boy that climbed on the bike and when the siren went off he took off running to his parents into the parking lot. I reset the alarm and went back inside.

Probably the type of people that would try to sue you when their kid burns themselves climbing over your hot pipes. No personal responsibility anymore.

Yep I was ready to whoop some ass when I got out there lol. I mounted mine on the bottom of the gas tank upside down with outdoor double sided tape I got from Lowes. When you take the tank off you can see the plugs under the tank. The wires you'll need to us is located under the seat on top of the frame left side its the only wire running to the back fender. I cut a slit into the sheath right about where the ECU is so I could tuck it in so it protected. The wires you'll need to use is the blue/yellow hook it in with the orange wire off the harness. And the green wire and brown wire Hook those in with the two gray wires off the harness doesn't matter which you use. Heres some pics to show.

Hey XPS, are those some type of vampire clips? Where did you find those? Are there any long term problems with them - like corrosion issues, vibrating loose, cutting the wire, etc?

There called T-taps they came in the kit these are really high quality ones I've used similar ones on my atv and I submerge it way under water (snorkeled) and have never had any problems with them corroding or any other problems. They barely nip into the wire so water won't get into the wiring

thats tricky.. not sure where you could mount it where it woudl see all the way around. mayber under the bike on the right hand side. that way there when the bike is on the kickstand the sensor will be high enough to read someone but not be noticable.

I had my perimeter sensor right where I had to put the powerpro so i haven't looked yet for another position. The antenna I put right behind the engine the space in between the motor and the reserve tank you'll see a coolant hose I zip tied the antenna to it you only need to worry about the last 6 inches of it being vertical. Im thinking of putting the perimeter sensor in the area as well facing up. Also the perimeter sensor sensitivity is set on the low side once you get it mounted in a good location there is a adjust pot on it that you turn up to make it more sensitive. I didn't want mine to sensitive when I had it mounted where the powerpro is now It would go off if I would stand next to the bike or stood over or sat down. When you first here it chirp then you walk away before the alarm sounds it has to settle back down for a couple of seconds for it to start picking you up again that is a good thing so it doesn't go off when alot of people are just walking by it. I put the rfid sensor under the seat just infront of the battery
