Everything is finally painted and back on my bike, and I thought I would share a few pictures. Still to do are front LED's, and a fuel tuner once I make up my mind which one I want. I also plan on getting with L&M to order my seat next week. Bear in mind that my photography skills suck, and pictures of this red don't do it justice. For anyone that's seen it in person, its Fords Race Red that the new mustangs are wearing, with some metallic silver stripes.

I want to mention my good friend Stuntz who painted it for me, and I don't think anyone else would have tolerated me hovering over their shoulder until the stripes were exactly like I wanted them. He also went so far as to paint parts of my hypercharger to match. All said and done I am very pleased with the way it turned out, and I cant wait till warmer weather. I also want to say that I appreciate the helpful members and vendors on this board, as their parts, advice, and service have been great.

Nice. Great to have a friend like that. Does your ass hurt after a while sitting on a seat like that. Lowest seat pan I've ever seen. ;D
Even with a bony backside its actually very comfortable and sitting that low is awesome, although it looks pretty silly lol. The L&M seat looks to be the closest to that position I can find, but I'm sure my backside will hate me on long trips. Hopefully my "I'm in pain" face will make me look tougher. 8)

How did you end up attaching the rear fender? I did the same thing smoothing it out and put T-nuts on the fender and bolted it from underneath
I drilled the threads out of the bolt hoes on the sides of the frame. I attached nuts to the sides of the fender with epoxy, and ran bolts through the frame to them. I also placed two sided tape on the top pieces of frame where the old fender attached via bolts. Its rock solid. I thought about doing something using the top bolts only but I didn't like the idea of the fender being loose on the sides. I'll also go on the record as saying what a serious pain in the backside it all was, but it turned out great I think.

I'm planning on the wrap around ones for the forks that most are using. I thought about the straight line like the L&M bikes, but I'm required to have running lights in my state and I don't think that would go over well in my area.
