Is it me or are there others who actually like the sound of the stock exhaust? My riding buddy, a Harley rider (but not a Harley snob) like the sound also.

I liked the sound after I drilled four 1/2" holes in each tailpipe

I never even heard one of our bikes stock?? I test rode a demo model at the Yamaha Dealer (It was the owners son) and it already had Cobras on it. When I bought my bike, I said I wanted to pick it up with pipes on it, and that I did. My stockers are in the garage with 10 miles on them....don't know how quiet it was..

Stock sounds good to me & I also wear ear plugs. Not many here will heed this, but with loud pipes good luck hearing when you get older. Sorry, I know you didn't want to "HEAR" that.

I like the sound and I really like the look of my black stock pipes. I have followed a few Harleys and after a few miles, I don't want to be behind them.

The people at my apt complex actually tell me they can hear me come and go. I must be going deaf because I don't think its very loud. They'll sure hate me when I get V&H. I have received positive comments on the look of the stock pipes, so like everything else, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I liked the sound of the stock pipes so much, one of the first things I did was order a Cobra slip-on.....and I don't even know what THAT really sounds like because I took the baffle out before I even put it on.

If you like stock youll love the sound of new pipes, I wouldn't trade my V&H Big Radius for anything. Theyre real head turners
