Did nothing to my setting but all of a sudden I'm getting pop ups and highlighted words in the text for advertisement.. Can't remember how to turn them off . Anyone ?????/

Its in your user section. I think they are called intellchoice or something like that.

I don't think it's the website, I think it's your browser.
Try a different site see if you still have it.
Try a different browser, I only ever use Firefox.

Don't see the intell button anymore. It's happening on another forum too. So I'm thinking it's something I uninstalled effecting Firefox. I'll find it.

Toby – I had the same problem right about the time this forum changed format. I was using Internet Explorer. My computer guy had me switch to Google Crhome for my browser. That fixed the problem, it has been WAY better.

adblock is a browser extension, however it does what it says, blocks ads, and therefore income for the site.

Only if one is inclined to click on the ads on websites... I don't, so whatever site I'm on has lost nothing.
