Some of you were hoping there were more options for a gas tank accent piece. Well, here is my custom made one! Let me know what you think!

Very simple! ha ha! Went to Lowes and bought a 3" Conduit cap drilled holes in between the raised grip bumps and painted it with Plasti-Dip. I'll probably mess around until I get exactly what I want, but this was a first attempt. Can't justify buying a $60 Low and Mean accent piece. I like the Idea of a $1.49 custom job!

Ya I not a low and mean fan. I prefer the more creative mods and metal fenders

What about bigrigchrome? Several people have the chrome ring and its around 10 $ with shipping.

Just type in big rig chrome and there will be several threads about the item and at least one of the threads has the item/part number.

Hey Stryker29, is that a 2 1/2 or 3 inch? I loooked at Lowe's (stealing your excellent mod) while getting more Plastidip and the biggest I saw stocked was 2 1/2. Also, how did you apply it?

Cool! I'm actually going to get another one and add some ideas that I've come up with. I haven't mounted it yet but I was think magnetic tape and some 3M tape. I'll be re-doing it this weekend.
