Any Backpack or Travel Bag Suggestions?

10098 Views 51 Replies 24 Participants Last post by  Aelway7
Well we have two Strykers, but neither of us wants to add saddlebags. My wife has a solo seat and I don't have or want a sissybar. So...does anyone have any good suggestions for some type of backpack that would be good for a weekend trip?

If I could find a quick detach saddlebag without any type of distracting side brackets I wouldn't be opposed. I would rather just put them on for a trip.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the ultra and daily tour bags. They work well together. I packed enough stuff for five days in them. Good backrest as well.
They look nice. Do they fasten on easily?

Nice luggage WLFPAK65, and reflective to boot.

I like the looks of that luggage setup WLFPAK65 has.
Mine is not for touring, but a cool setup for everyday use. I’m not into saddle bags because I like to keep my bike a bit more sporty looking. This was a tank bag that I converted with a Velcro strap to go under the seat. So when the seat comes off I can slide the bag off easily.

Interesting and smart set up..... but yahh i dont like the look of saddle bags on the stryker personally to me it takes the bad ass looks of the bike away but i dig the peeps that have put on the batwing with hard bags.... it looks coordinated with those key components..... the bags i have i got as an upgrade since the co. couldnt get me my tank bag back as a warranty replacement so i asked for something worth more and they went for it!!!! the roll bag i got for$65 but ill be using the roll bag for my setup on long rides.... the saddlebags im trying to sell but i just put it on to c how they would look all together? Not bad but still not me lol cool thing is with the different bags on, it actually has harness clips that attach together in certain places making it a stackable setup

Backpack for me. That way I don't have those dreadful looking bags hanging on my beautiful bike.

I bought a nice alpine stars backpack with a helmet carrier
That is what I am looking for. Do you know a model name? Some of the Ogio ones at Revzilla look cool.
I use the saddleman br1800 for longer rides. For my daily commute I use the kury mini gran tour bag. It has a decent amount of space for a compact bag.
I need to find a bag for a 10 day ride that will hold clothes, toiletries, sleeping bag, tent, and pillow. Any suggestions that won't break the bank?
I have the T-Bag Raven and Raven top bag. It's perfect for me since it can be stuffed all kinds of ways. Now I have the sissy bar so I can still use the T-Bags and whatever else I might need.

This is the backpack I use to commute with my laptop. I love all the openings on the inside against my back
