Thinking about buying those slip ons from Cobra. That price on PHAT is real good. But was wondering if to buy it on line and go have it installed or if there is a video out there from someone who has done it? Thanks,

It's one of the simpler things to install, here is a video from a 950 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjfOppcjGM0 on ours you will remove the bracket also and install a new one, so you can actually take the muffler and bracket off in one piece. Don't over think it, it is really that simple. There is a pdf download on cobrausa.com for installation instructions also. Enjoy~!

I did to, but the bolt is already black and is to long ??? I guess I could cut it down to size or use a plastic christmas tree/push pin.
Push pin would be a great idea, you can get those at local car parts store for couple bucks.

3 bolts off, 2 bolts on. Almost impossible to get wrong. I took the spare bolt, put a nut on it, cut it down and used the nut to clean the threads up. Worked great.

Hey guys any of you had to change the fuel tunner??

Did anyone keep the stock airbox? What if i also install a big air kit from barons?
A fuel tuner is not required with a slip-on exhaust. If you install a slip-on exhaust with a BAK you may need some type of fuel management. It's really a case by case basis. I run a full Vance & Hines Big Radius exhaust system with a BAK and I have no issues not running a fuel tuner...however some folks do because there are many variables to consider. Temperature, elevation, humidity, quality of fuel, style of riding...etc.

I also ran without tuning...I just got worried about the heat here(+108 last week) and long rides so I wanted to dump a little more fuel. Slip-on + Kuryakyn BAK.
