It might be a wish full feeling. But I had removed the front screen on my Cobra power flow housing and my Stryker seems slightly peppier? Any one else try this? Im leaveing it off. I remember the first thing I did back in the eighties is remove the screen on the front of the throttle boddies on the Corvettes and Camaros back then. One more week till dyno tune time. Im not sure if they can get a good fuel mix reading since the sniffer rod won't go all the way into my pipe?

You have to pull your baffles and drill a whole for the dyno rod. They just need about 12 ", or you can just leave it and waste your money.

The screen keeps bugs and rocks and such out. It does add restriction (just as a screen window can restrict airflow up to 50%). You'll just have to clean the filter out a bit more. I know I had a lot of bugs on my screen all the time that I blasted off with the garden hose.
I don't think that it will increase performance all that much, but whatever rocks your butt dude..:thumb: I always believed performance mods are more psychological than physical. It's not often that most of us operate the bikes in the RPM range needed to capitalize on the performance capabilities of the aftermarket pieces....then again...some of do
