I love my stock seat but the rear is murder on my girl friend. Question is. If any one is using the mustange vintage touring seats does the drivers seat make you sit higher and or closer on the bike? Im perfect on the stock seat. Thanks.

I don't have the mustang seat, but the ones who do say it pushes you forward.

I have the parts unlimited seat, it does not push you forward. Very comfortable and not as pricey.

Patrice is right. The PU seats are the best I have tried.

mustang seat

I replaced the stock seat with a mustang seat- you sit a little higher, and a bit closer- but it is way more comfortable than the stock seat-for me- and especially for my wife who is sitting behind me/ also have cobra slip on exhaust, and hot leather saddlebags-will try to post pict

11" wide . The stockfor is 9" wide and the same as stock and all :eek:aftermatket seats are.

The Mustang rear seat is so much nicer than the stock. The front seat does push you forward but it has great back support. Installing the 3" forward controls compensated for the change in seating position.
Anyother happy Mustang owner. I chose the Mustang due to the fact that 1) I had they're products in the past, and 2) because it is a 2 piece set up and I can use just the solo seat when the wife's not riding with me. She is very happy with the seat as am I. It does move you up just a tad but not enough that I notice much difference.

Well after going for a ride today I decided no way do I want to sit higher and more forward on my Striker. So I went seat searching today and did some seat spec's. Seems I decided on a PU low profile single seat for me and the wide touring pillion that is 11 1/2 wide for the miss's. This way I can remove the pillion and Q/D back rest when im rideing alone. I paid a $100.00 more for this set up over the mustang seats. The rear mustang seat is 11" wide. So mama will be happy and ill be happy, just poorer this month,LOL. Next week I get the new PU seats,Q/D back rest and luggage rack, the memphis bullit fairing and the warrior rear peg mounts. Gonna be a different bike by the time I ride it next weekend,LOL. Whats next, oh yea, air kit, pipe and bulley tuner and saddel bags, I should be done by then :tsk:

Just my opinion, but i have the parts unlimited predator 2up seat and i hate it, the passenger section is not very nice either, my wife hates the seat as well. Wish there were other good options but unfortunately there isnt.

I have the PU solo seat and wide pillion... while they are nice seats... they are taking for-ever to "break in". So we got the AirHawk 2 cushion's for those longer rides and they work great!

I just installed the PU low solo and wide passenger seat and the Yamaha tall QD back
Rest last night. Went for a ride with the little women on back. She said it was way more
comphy than even the corbin seat and slipin back rest set up I have on my Roadliner. I
also installed the Warrior passenger peg mounts and I still had my old Warrior foot pegs
in the shed, lol. Today I get the memphis bullet fairing in the mail. Next month ill get the star saddel bags. Then a air kit, pipe and bully tuner. That should be it. Thank me for getting the all black Stryker. No chrome to buy.lol.Keeps my modding costs way down.

While the PU solo low boy is not a perfect match for the rear bigger wide touring seat it works for me and works for mama better. When she isnt rideing with me ill just take off the touring seat and probably install the mustange fender bib when I order one. Here's a pic of my black beauty so far.

I have the 2 piece Mustang seat with driver back rest. Way better ride then stock. Wife says it is the most comfortable ride of all the bikes we have had\

Though it does move you forward a bit I could still use about 2 inches more pull back on the handle bars (For that real comfy cruise position). Seems there is nothing out there yet. Maybe soon something will be on the market. (Any info would be great)
