Me me me. Just made the deal on a 2011 leftover, reddish copper. Really loved the blue but they didn't have one and couldn't pass up the deal on this one. Can't wait till spring. Actually was a Christmas present for the wife hee hee. I've got a 996 Superhawk and she won't ride on the back of it so I promised her I'd get rid of it and go back to a cruiser (had a 2002 Vstar 1100) so she could ride with me again. She was overjoyed, a win win situation for me! ;D

I did I did!

new member, John from Tallahassee. Picked up a new leftover 2011 copper red with 4 miles on it today. Previous bike was a 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500. as much fun as that was, I already love this one so much more. Can't wait to take a trip on it, meanwhile that guy you see buzzing around town with a big ol grin on his face? yea that's me.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'm sure I'll love the Stryker. The Vstar I had was a great bike, amazing handling for a bike that large and I'm sure the Stryker will be no different. I fell in love with the one in the showroom when I bought my Honda and now had the extra money to move up. I'm psyched! Only thing is I won;t get it till spring. The dealer has graciously offered free storage for the winter and as my garage is already packed full I couldn't turn it down. you'll be seeing me here more often as riding time gets closer.

wow what a warm welcome. Bluegill, congrats and Merry Christmas. At least you get to ride yours, I won't even see mine until I get it in the spring! We're expecting 4-8 inches of snow tomorrow night so even a quick test ride is out of the question, bummer. On the bright side I've got a brand new Ski Doo sitting in the garage with 0 miles waiting for snow so I guess I'll have to make do. I look forward to the new bike and making it my own (I love to tinker on them) so you guys be ready for a lot of questions in the spring! Over 40 years of riding both street and dirt bikes and this is my first brand new bike. 8)

Spencer is about an hour or so from me, I'm in the Berkshires. do some Motocross riding out in Baldwinville which isn't to far from Spencer. Definitely not warm this time of year, but I just got a new Ski Doo TNT so I'll try to tough it out!
Thanks for the welcome.
