I saw all these pics of people cutting the rear ducktail, and moving the plate up tight to the brake light. I thought it looks good, but now I wonder what it would look like if I did the side plate mount, and cut off everything on the rear below the brake light? Anyone done this?

Just a heads up if you trim alot off you will get water coming around the fender, got the Ol-lady a little wet the other day! ;D On the bike,dont be gettin all dirty!

Im not gonna trim crazy...either move the plate tight to the top....or move it to the side. I just dont like the L&M thin brake light, and that seems the only option besides a kawi taillight

I trimmed too much off the first one I did. I went past the under bracing and it was exposed. I also found out that the wheel doesn't set center of the fender.

Well I ended up buying the LED plate light deals, so I guess I just am gonna move the plate up

I have a led strip that is my running/ brake light on the lip of the fender, and i tucked led turn signals up under the seat.

Moved the plate up cut off the crap. Used a plate bracket with built in white let across top and side red lights I wired into the brake light. Nice and clean
