Having the modding itch I have been checking out all the accessories out there and came across some audio systems.. Just wanted to see if anyone has one installed and what their reviews are.. Also if you have pics that would be great.. I have been looking at Cycle Sounds and Uniq Sounds.. Thought it would be nice to have some tunes to cruise too..

I do but I'm running a faring. No one makes an kit for a memphis shades so I created one out of fiberglass...First time I've riden with tunes on a bike, have to say at first it was odd but now that I've had it for a few months its great on longer rides...just helps pass the time. I looked at all of those handle bar mounted setups and could never get much info on which one was better.

Oh don't forget you have to find a place to mount an amp...to be honest I don't know where you would but you have to get creative, not sure any of that helps, but remember tunes below 50mph is one thing being able to hear em above 50 takes some power.

Well I was leaning towards the Cycle Sounds Series 3 kit.. 200w system.. and from the pictures the amp doesnt look all that big..

Really having a hard time figuring out what to get for music on the bike. I was thinking about this one, anyone have any experience with these?

I have this system ordered and should be here in the next few days. I'll let you know how it sounds after the install. I also have a 4 day road trip coming up so hopefully it works well!

Cool Raven, Will definately like to here your thoughts on it. Did you order it from Gooddeals? I will also be interested in how you decide to wire it up. I was thinking if i ordered this, I would mount the speakers to the two upper farring bolts that hold the shade to the brackets and point them up, just not sure where I would put the amp.

Thought about that one StrykenShane but I really dont want to mount the speakers on my bars up top, but rather down below inside the fairing pointing up and those have the volume control on the speaker itself, this other one has a control perch that would install on the bars for changing tracks on SD or FM stations, I believe it would be more functional for me and it is half the price of the sound of chrome ones just hoping that doesnt mean half the quality.

No I ordered directly from Shark. Not sure how I'm gonna wire it but the amp will probably go in one of the pouches on my fairing. Good idea with the speakers. Gonna be a tight fit but I'll have to get creative

I put the Shark Audio on my Raider. The sound is fine, particularly for what you pay. Unless you go with a faring, once you get above 45-50 mph, they all are just noise. Try to find the smallest speakers you can find because 3" doesn't sound that big until you hag two of them on you handlebars.
