I have the Big Baron air kit now in black and the style is just not sitting right
with me. I'll have the cvt tuner in hand in about 2 weeks and was thinking of
switching to the black Powrflo at that time. Would like feedback from riders that
have tried it installed, especially with the CVT. Thanks...

I'll have the Cobra PowrFlo intake on Tuesday. I'll install it and let you know what I think. I have the PowrPro programmer and Cobra swept exhaust on now. I was told by Rick, an engineer at Cobra, that I should gain between 5-6 HP after installing the intake. ;D

I like the look of it, I thought about going with it, then I found this instead. Haven't installed it yet, waiting on powr protuner to come in.
Are the butterflies functional on that intake? I thought I read that they wouldn't be functional on the Stryker because of the fuel injection system.

I have the cobra air intake and the cobra fi2000r. My intentions had been to install the cvt first and see how it affected the bikes performance, and then install the air intake. However, my impatience won out and I installed them both at the same time. I don't know how much of a difference each made individually, but together I can tell you that it is a very pleasant experience. Much smoother power and, much more responsive throttle. The air intake does make a very noticeable sound, which some on here have been concerned with. I love it, tells me it is doing it's job sucking in more air.

Did you go with black or crome ?
Hard decision, but went with Black.
Those are the hard decisions we like , black will look good with a Old NO.7 or JD on it will stand out better.

I can't seem to find this on their website as a metric part, did you just get the HD one and are using an adapter? I have been waiting for one of these in black. but I really want the hypercharger pro

Put the intake on last night and it looks and performs awesome! The second you start the bike you can hear it sucking in the air. It definitely creates more power and seems to run even smoother in conjunction with the Cobra PowrPro and the Cobra sweeps. Makes it feel like I'm not lugging around that Metzler 240 I have on the rear! ;D

I have to agree with Silver. I installed my air intake today and the bike rocked. Dave from Cobra told me that I would feel a big difference using the Power Commander along with the air intake and he was spot on. The engine response was noticeably better at every gear. The unit was well made, well packaged and looks great. All of the parts are well made and the install was straight forward. If you have any doubts about getting this intake, let me re-assure you that it is well worth the money.
