Getting rid of my rear turns for an integrated tail light. Was wondering if front turn signals are required or if I can just take them off?

That depends on your state laws. If you want to get rid of the lolly pops in the front, check out some of the threads about LED turns on the forks.

I am no expert but i am pretty sure turn signals are required in all states unless you have an old back that never came with them. Thinking the Stryker does not qualify as old bike.

They are not required in NC.

They also douple as running lights , even if not required they are a safty issue to me.

In Washington... Fronts are not required... rears are if your bike originally came with them.

I wouldn't put too much faith in that site. Not sure if its just not up to date or incorrect but I think it might be wrong for my state. Better safe than sorry at the hands of johnny law.

hmmm....in Texas, under turn signals it just says "required if model is 1960 or newer"

Doesn't say how many or has to be BOTH front and rear.

I'm Confused Why would you not want turn signals on your bike, unless you have a death wish. Or maybe you only ride in your driveway. Even with my turn signals I always have at least one idiot a month who cuts in front of me. If I would stick out my arm to signal the turn, some A Hole would probably just take it off with their car going the other way.

I'm not. Just getting an integrated (means the turns, brake and tail are all together), so I don't have those lollipop looking lights sticking out. I was just wondering if front are required.

California laws suck no mater what kind of vehicle you have. But keep in mind safety is an important thing to consider no mater how your bike may look and what the laws are.
